I am Aimee, I am a full time working Mum to Zane, but I love to be at home. To me a day spent rushing around in town is a wasted day. My ideal day would be spent at home playing and gardening.
My favorite things are
- Anything quirky, unusual, and original. So anything like me!
- Simple pleasures.
- Cheese
- Cloth nappies
- Seeing the development of the plants in my garden.
Gary is my beloved other half of eleven years. He is a Stay at Home Dad to Zane and he does a brilliant job. He too is a home bird and loves spending hours working in his garage or greenhouse.
Gary's favorite things are
- Coffee - A cup of Douwe Egberts is a must before any conversation takes place.
- Coming up with inventions, from new ideas to save time or to make something more functional, to his Frankenstein toys made up of two broken toys fixed together to make one functional toy.
- Gardening on our allotment, or in our garden.
- Dismanteling his Honda Prelude with a view of rebuilding it into a track car.
- Crafty things, he is brilliant at drawing, making and building.
Zane is are awesome son who was born in December 2009. Zane is a little nutcase who chatters all day long, and has such a funny personality. He has inherited my personality and double chin, and Gary's intelligence and ears, lucky boy!
Zane's favorite things are
- Anything with an engine, wheels, or lights and a siren.
- Chasing our chickens around the garden.
- Anything edible.
- Books, especially Dear Zoo.
- Driving everywhere in his Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, when I say everywhere, I mean everywhere! The pushchair rarely gets used now, grown ups look at us like we are nuts, and kids look at Zane like he is the coolest kid ever.
So there you go, you have met my lovely little family which is full of love. Now you should know what my aims are for this blog. I aim to give completely honest opinions for every product which I review. If I dont like something I will say so, but along with that I will only review products which I have a genuine interest in. By doing this my reviews will be more realistic as I wont be giving a false impression of a product, and I will keep my integrity, which obviously is very improtant.
